Their Story
Around 18 months ago, I had to flee for my life because my husband was...
abusive. I had no where to go which is how I ended up homeless. I was so scared. I didn't know where to go or what to do. Luckily, I met some very supportive people at Angeline's and Mary's Place who helped me find shelter. I worked with the staff at Angeline's to find a spot at a transitional housing facility where I am currently staying. I am feeling ready to get my life back. I am taking job readiness classes, computer classes, cooking classes, and meeting with my case manager twice a month. I also just completed a treatment program for drugs and alcohol. I have been sober for two years now. My next goals are to obtain a job, open a bank account, and find permanent housing.

These are our neighbors
During this unprecented time, it's never been more important to help them find a safe, stable, supportive place to sleep at night.
We find that when we wrap a social home around someone, they gain the capacity to often find the physical home soon after.
You are invited to join one or many who seek to find a home this year.
