Thomas

Thomas is a Washington native and Sacramento resident struggling with depression and housing insecurity. His dream is to repair his relationships with his family, live minimally, and live near the coast in a trailer to enjoy his surfing and saltwater fishing hobbies. Extenuating circumstances saw Thomas became homeless shortly after joining Elica Health Centers and samaritan, through which he was able to receive financial help from supporters and share his story, while completing important action steps such as following up with his healthcare providers, meeting with his case manager, and checking in with his community. Support from the community ultimately aided Thomas in securing a trailer and facilitated his move to his native Washington State, where he is now working on winter-prepping the vehicle!
